Your life in a seaside town has been peaceful but dull, until an infamous, wealthy samurai suitor approaches you one day and asks for your hand in marriage. As a wedding gift, he gives you a magnificent black pearl necklace. After your father dies of a sudden illness, distant relatives eagerly arrange the union, despite your misgivings.
 
When an impressive vessel, the Narukami Trade Ship, docks in the port on the morning of your wedding, you realize you have one chance to escape. You cut your hair, don male attire, and set sail in search of freedom and a new life...
 
However, little do you know that this "merchant vessel" is also flying false colors. It's actually a pirate ship belonging to the infamous Minakami Kaizoku, a clan of seafaring warriors called the lords of the sea. These deadly, rich rogues plunder and raid wherever they sail, and their ship strikes fear into the hearts of any she approaches.
 
In for a penny, in for a pound. You're already on the open sea with these dangerous men, and it's too late to turn back now. It's said that pirate crews are usually close, but it seems some crewmates are interested in more than just usual comradery with you… How long can you keep your secret among this gang of handsome sailors, and what will happen if it's found out? Worst of all, will your scorned fiancé let you escape so easily?

The tall, dark, and handsome captain, Akifusa, runs a tight ship. He's infamous for his reckless actions and feared by all who hear his name, but you get the feeling he's hiding something behind that bravado of his. Now that you have the captain's attention, can you help him find the treasure he seeks, or is he doomed to sail the seas alone?

Rouen has a heart as strong as his abs, and if his unique looks don't catch your attention, his temper certainly will! To him, brute strength is the only way to survive on the high seas. He seems ready to sweep you off your feet at first sight—literally! After your first battle, he finds himself absolutely impressed by you and your fighting style. Will you take up his challenge or leave him hanging?
 
Ushio — The Cheeky Ship's Boy
 
Ushio may be the youngest of the crew, but he teaches you how things run on the ship with all the confidence of a veteran. Picked up by Akifusa after being orphaned, Ushio has big ambitions and is out on the high seas for adventure. He's already made quite a name for himself as the master of homemade bombs and traps. Will you be his happily ever after?
